Print postage labels in Ireland

A good label is the correct purchased label, printed sharply at the intended scale and attached flat to the matching parcel. Reprinting cannot correct inaccurate weight or customs data.

Download the correct file

Use the label attached to the specific order or carrier purchase and check the recipient and service before printing. Avoid screenshots when an official PDF or print view is supplied.

  • Match the order number
  • Check destination and carrier
  • Store labels away from unrelated orders

Print at a readable scale

Use the paper or label size specified by the carrier and disable settings that crop content. The address, routing marks and complete barcode must be dark and sharp.

  • Do not cut through quiet space around barcodes
  • Replace streaked ink or toner
  • Test one label before a batch

Attach it correctly

Place the label on the largest flat face without folding it around an edge. Remove or completely cover old routing labels, while keeping packaging tape away from barcode glare where possible.

  • Use one active outbound label
  • Keep the barcode flat
  • Do not place it over a seam

No-printer routes

Some orders offer a QR code or print-at-location option, but this is not universal. Confirm that option before payment and bring the exact email or code requested by the carrier or retailer.

  • Do not assume every post office can print every label
  • Keep the code available offline
  • Get an acceptance receipt

How to get it right

  1. Verify the order: Match the label to the recipient, parcel and purchased carrier service.
  2. Set the printer: Choose the specified stock and a print setting that preserves the full label.
  3. Inspect the output: Check address, barcode edges and contrast before attaching.
  4. Attach and scan: Fix it flat, cover old labels and retain handover evidence.
